Happy Birthday Yvonne!

Here are some pic's of the birthday party (sleepover) and scrap night at my home. I didn't get many good ones as I was cooking, cleaning and well just trying to be a good host. We had some great appetizers, drinks, a chocolate fountain, and cake. Some of us took a dip in the spa, while others scrapped and some even stayed until the next day and scrapped until 9:30 p.m. Geesh, we had stayed up until 3:00 a.m and we still managed to scrap some more the next day!!!

A layout I did of our Disneyland trip this last July.

Fun stuff...

See Ms. Scrapper off to the right?? Okay, so maybe I have too much time on my hands. Well, not really I just did not feel like washing dishes after dinner so I got on my laptop and had fun. I made this a 3D avatar, so fun. Well the dishes are calling....

Pool...

When we were in the process of moving we knew we wanted a pool. Our old neighborhood had a community pool and my two daughters loved it. Youngest daughter learned how to swim and both daughters were on the swim team. We all made friends and had parties and b-b-q's all the time. The last two years we lived there I was the pool manager and we also planted trees and bulbs in the front to beautify the area around the pool entrance.

Here is a picture of "our" very own pool. We started work right away as it can get very hot here.

Almost done....

We have lived in our home for almost 4 years and we have had projects going ever since. It can be fun but also frustrating. We have done the following to our home:

  1. Complete kitchen remodel

  2. 2200 sq. ft. of hardwood floors

  3. Install 2 sets of french doors

  4. Closed off two door ways

  5. Painted; used 7 different colors throughout the house

  6. Complete remodel of girls bathrooms + half bath twice (mirror fell of wall hit the sink then hit the toilet and cracked everything on its to the ground)

  7. New flooring in laundry room

  8. Installed pool

  9. Landscaped almost three acres

  10. Just added a veggie garden (fenced in to keep our three dogs out)

  11. Furnished dining room, living room, and family room. (Master is next)

  12. In the process of adding organization to our mater bedroom closet

I have taken pictures along the way and I'm ready to start a before and after scrapbook. I have shared a few pics along the way here is one of the drapes in the dining and living room areas. The pics are not great still trying to figure out my new camera. I will be taking free classes offered when I purchased my camera.
