I love soccer

I especially like it when my daughter gets excited over it too. We went to a soccer game last Saturday, USA v Japan. We really enjoyed watching the game and I think my daughter picked up a few tricks!!! She's on a competitive team and really likes the sport. She has been playing since she was in pre-school and now she's a big 6th grader.I also played soccer from the time I was 7 until I was 16. I'm happy that we have a common interest especially since she hates to shop or get her nails done or anything girly for that matter (my 17 year old loves all the girly stuff). Anyhoo I'm proud to say the USA team won 4-1. One of our goals was actually shot by the other team. I felt kind of bad but that's the way it goes sometimes. I took many pictures and I can preview them on the camera screen but when I try to download them onto my computer I can't see anything. Here's a few of the pic's I can see. Go USA!!!!

Gosh the second photo is messed up, can anyone tell me what's going on here?!?

Disneyland

Okay, so I have so totally been lagging in the blogging department. We went to the happiest place on earth and I didn't even post any pic's. What!!!!!! Here are some of the kids/friends and one of my hubby.

We stayed at the Grand Californian and really enjoyed our stay there. The have an excellent restaurant (Napa Rose) that was so yummy we ate there twice. The kiddos got to cool off at the hotel pool and of course the rides and shopping were fun too.

Some of my favorite things

I have to say I'm a product junkie. When I really like something I have to buy it as soon as I start running low. For example I just love the Jasmine Vanilla hand cream from Bath & Body Works. As soon as my hands start to feel dry I slather this stuff on. It makes my hands nice and smooth. Here are a couple of other favorites. What are yours??

Disneyland here we come!

We are leaving tomorrow and returning on Thursday. We have not been to Disneyland in almost six years. We let each of our daughters take a friend along so it should be a fun time for all.
Well have a great week everyone and I will post pic's when we get back.

I've been tagged...cool.

Answer the question: "If you had the opportunity to do a 1-year internship in a company or field completely unrelated to your current career or specialty, what would be your top 5 choices?"

Let me start off by saying that I have been a SAHM for 10 years. I have done a little here and there work wise but mostly been a SAHM. Before that I was a Credit and Collections Supervisor at a Computer Company in Silicon Valley. It was an okay job. I just don't understand why nobody wanted to take my calls......hee,hee!

1. My first choice would be a Landscape Architect. I love all things plants and design. I love combining plants, textures, color, and different heights to make peoples surroundings beautiful.

2. An oil on canvas artist. I would love to travel the world and set-up my easel and paint paraphernalia and go at it.

3. A web designer.

4. Okay, don't laugh, when I was a child I wanted to be a comedian. I know how crazy is that?? I don't anymore but I'm running out of ideas here.

5. Full time volunteer.

That was fun; who to tag, who to tag???

I tag Mindypace and cherylp. (mamichelle thanks for letting me know you had already been tagged)

P.S. Sorry Danielle in UT I tried to finish last night but then I had to tuck in the kiddo and well....

It's been over a month...WHAT?!?

Okay, I have been a very bad girl. It's been a long time since I have updated! I have been very busy. Kiddos are out of school, soccer was wrapping up, tutoring was coming to an end, we hosted Father's Day, my nephew's birthday, and our landscaping project kept growing!

So here are a couple of my favorite pictures although I can't take full credit. As I was taking photos of the my daughter and niece running through the sprinklers my husband said "What kind of scrapbooker are you ?" "You need to get the flag in the background!" What a great idea. What symbolizes the Fourth of July and summer like the American Flag and children running through the sprinklers?? We live across the street from a produce farm and they have the flag up. Oh, and I thought I'd throw in a pic I took at Great America on the 3rd of July.

I Hope you all had a great Fourth of July!
