Day 4 Dinner~ Oldest daughter suggested a dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. How could I say no...I love the food there!


Day 3 Families Shoes~ Love the way my younger daughter's boots look like she really had fun getting them to this level of dirty! Horse camp will do that to a new pair of boots.





Day 2 Favorite Beverage~ It's a toss up, I really love my diet caffeine free Coke but the Chai Tea Latte is good too.

A picture a day in March Challenge

Well, better late than never is what I say. I love this challenge and I thank kathy m at Scrapbook Addict for giving us the prompts everyday!! I have been slacking in the photo taking department lately and now that my router is fixed I am up for the challenge!!

Day 1 Mailbox~ I have to say I am a little embarrassed showing you the state of my mailbox. Yes, it is leaning a little but there is a good reason for that. Number one the mailbox is on a wooden post and has been in the ground since the house was built 13 years ago. Plus, a realtor backed into it but no big deal. We are going to replace it as soon as we start the face lift on our front yard landscaping in the three weeks. Note the letter to my daughter who is in science camp this week.

Accident

As some of you know my husband and brother rolled the truck they were in down a cliff. Thank God the got out of it with only some bumps, bruises, and a little freaked out!!!! Several small trees kept them from continuing down the cliff and into the river below. The truck is totaled but who cares.... Several day after the accident they both got a bad case of poison oak from climbing up the cliff to get to the road. The poison oak got so bad my husband ended up in the ER at 2:45 one morning. Nothing a little steroid shot, med's, and cream can't take care of.

I love my husband more than words can say. I have been with this man since a month after I turned 18. We just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary and I can't imagine my life without him!!! My brother and I are very close and I also could not imagine my life without him in it. They were given a second chance at life is how I feel about it. So the next time the people you love are around or are headed out the door tell them you love them and look them in the eye when you say it because you will see that they really like it when you tell them.

P.S. Please wear your seatbelts everytime you get into a car!!!!

Yesssssss, going to the SPAAAAAA!!

I will be going to the spa today to get a facial with my friend Dina. We are looking a bit tired and thought we should use our gift certificates. We have had these gift certificates for 1 1/2 years and we are ready for some relaxation. Let you know how it went but really have you every had a bad spa expirence??? I guess there are some people out there that have been disappointed with their spa treatments but not me at least not so far.

I hope you all do something to pamper yourselves today. It my not be a spa treatment it could be as simple as buying some flowers, buying your favorite coffee and reading your favorite book or magazine. Whatever it is you enjoy doing take a little time and do it.

Long time no BLOG!!!!!

Okay, I know that it has been a while but I have a good excuse, really I do. We have been very fortunate in that my husband sold his company and he has been staying home. He will resume work after the girls go back to work in Sept. So we have been busy and taking advantage of his staying home. Will post more later.

Dove In Cherry Tree...

Just thought I'd share a beautiful photo my husband took in spring of '05. I just love this pic with the dove nesting, it makes me happy just looking at it! :o)

I'm off to get some excercise in...yuck, but since we are leaving for Hawaii this coming Sunday I better get bathing suit ready. Have a happy kind of day everyone!
